Leave me for taking me up

I was so sad as I couldn’t meet Abdee’s friends. I didn’t know how about Abdee’s perception of me in front of his friends. The next night, after taking a bath and clothing, I sat in front of my mirror.
‘Abdee, do you feel the same way with me?’ I mumbled. Slowly, I combed my hair. Someone knocked at my door.
‘Who is it?’
‘Nadia, it’s me,’ I heard Abdee’s voice. Then I opened the door.
‘I’m sorry I couldn’t accompany you yesterday. It’s just one of my carelessness, I fell into a muddy grass and I don’t want to make you ashamed of it.’
‘It’s fine. Are you free now?’
‘What?’
‘ Please, follow me,’ he pulled me out. ’Wait, why didn’t you take your shawl? It’s cold outside,’ he suggested me. Having reached my brown shawl, I was back to him.
It’s unforeseen that Abdee brought me into his private place, on the top of old building. It was a flat floor without any roof covering it, because long ago, the construction was suddenly stopped.
‘Okay, close your eyes now,’ he asked me.
‘What?’
Not answering my question, he took my shawl and tied it to my eyes.
‘What is it, Abdee?’ I wondered.
‘Just hold my hand.’ Then, he brought me upstairs.
¢ ¢ ¢
‘One.., two.., three…,’ he opened my eyes. Wow, I couldn’t believe what I saw.
‘How beautiful it is, Abdee. How can you do it?’ I found that it was a very romantic place. Under the star lights, there’s a table with two chairs, candles, some flowers around it, and the most surprising thing is the big painting beside them, the painting of Eiffel.
He guided me to the table and let me sit.
‘I know you like Paris so much,’ he said.
‘Obviously I do,’ I added.
‘Let’s try my cooking. It is my favorite recipes.’ He pointed to spaghetti and boiled cheese potatoes in front of us.
‘Abdee, you haven’t told me what for it is.’
‘Please accept this as my apologizing for leaving you yesterday. I know you’re annoyed with me.’
‘Oh, never mind. It wasn’t your fault.’
After it, we were busy with our foods.
Suddenly, Abdee stopped eating and said, ‘Actually, there’s something I gotta tell you.’
‘Hm?’
‘Tomorrow, I have to leave for Aussie, for my scholarship there.’
‘Pardon?’ I was almost choked.
‘Yes…, since I had been accepted in my high school, I attempted to get a scholarship about the student exchanging. And after lots hard works, finally, I get it. I can continue my study there, until graduating from college.’
‘….’
‘Forgive me, Nad. I’m sorry for not telling it to you before. I wanna give you a surprise. I intended to tell you yesterday, in my leaving party.’
‘Your leaving party?’
‘Yes, I know that I’ve laid you. It was a farewell party made by my friends for me.’
I couldn’t say anything. I just thought that I was unimportant for him because he didn’t ask my opinion for it before. For the first time after twelve years being his pal, I felt that I didn’t know him anymore.
‘This is for you,’ he stretched out a box and opened it.
‘Please wear it to count how much time I’m leaving you…’ he put a brown wrist clock on me, ‘…and wait for my turning to bring you with me. I promise.’
‘…’
I nodded my head and let my tears down along my cheeks.
